MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A robbery suspect and his getaway driver are on the run after holding up a Raleigh area bank Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred at the Bank of America on the 3300-block of Austin Peay Highway around noon on Tuesday, December 4. Investigators say a black male posed as a customer and demanded money from the teller, then ran out with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect ran to the back of the building where a second suspect was waiting in a gold Honda Civic, and they drove off headed southbound on Austin Peay.
The robbery suspect is described as a black male around 5'10" and 200 lbs., in his early 30's, last seen wearing a black hooded coat with a white design on the back, black pants, a black knit hat and a dark wig.
