MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A road on the University of Memphis campus remained closed Thursday afternoon after an accident involving a crane.
According to the University of Memphis Police Department, a contractor was driving the crane onto a flatbed 18-wheeler when the crane fell over the side. It happened on Zach Curlin around 2 p.m.
The unidentified driver was taken to The MED in non-critical condition.
Police had to call in another crane to pick up the damaged one.
No word on when the street may reopen.
