Women in the Mid-South think someone may be targeting women with blond hair. There have been several high profile missing person cases this year, and in each case the victims are all blonde. The latest was the murder of 44-year-old Dyersburg, TN mother Karen Swift.
The first to vanish was 20-year-old Holly Bobo. Bobo was led away from her Darden, TN home by an unknown man April 13th. She's still missing.
On June 1st, 39-year-old Jacque Sue Waller of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a mother of triplets, disappeared too. Waller is also still missing.
Swift disappeared October 30th and was found dead December 10th in a field in Dyersburg. Rachel Craighton told abc24.com "I think it's kind of strange. I don't t know if it's coincidence or something to a common thread."
Callye Norsworthy told abc24.com "It's definitely scary and it's crossed my mind as well as my husband's to think that there might possibly be someone that prefers that type of woman and is out looking for them."
