MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Time is running out to register to vote before the November election.
In Mississippi, Saturday, October 6 is the last day to register to vote; county circuit clerk's offices will be open from 8 a.m. until noon that day. Mail-in registrations must also be postmarked by that date.
For people in Tennessee, your voter registration form must also be postmarked by October 6 due to the fact Monday is Columbus Day, a federal holiday, and post offices will be closed. But you can still register in person on Monday, October 8.
In Arkansas, the Columbus Day holiday gives people an extra day to register. The deadline to register in person or by mail is Tuesday, October 9.
