If you register to vote at a government office, you would think you'd be taken care of. That's not the case for hundreds who headed to the polls after they registered at DeSoto County's Department of Public Safety.

Very typical of the voter suppression happening all over the country in Republican states. They know they cannot win with their failed, supply-side, trickle down economic policies. Not to mention the endless smokescreen issues (abortion, gay marriage), necessary since Republicans certainly can no longer run on their failed economic policies which favor the wealthy and corporations at the expense of everyone else. Voter suppression is their only hope, thus the nationwide efforts. Voter fraud has been virtually non-existent considering the numbers, so that old excuse just doesn't fly in the face of the facts.
