West Memphis Parents Could Face Judge for Curfew Violations

It is late on a Friday night, do you know where your kids are? In West Memphis, a judge could soon be asking parents that very question. The City Council is considering an enhanced curfew law to hold parents more accountable for their children.

Good for W. Memphis.....underage youth have NO business being on the streets after dark, PERIOD!

You can't always make the parents pay. I'm not saying all parents are doing their jobs because clearly they aren't. When the parents do the best they can and fall asleep exhausted and their kids leave the house afterwards, the parents have no control over that. You can't shackle your kids to the bed. Having the parents pay for this is just as bad as having the parents pay a fine for their children skipping school. Again, it is out of the parents control. If they drop their kids off and leave for work, they have no control of their kids leaving campus. Sometimes you guys need to go back to step one and look at the simpler route.
