Well let's see...there's Alcee Hastings, Dan Rostenkowski, James Traficant, John Jenrette, Sandy Berger, Web Hubbell, William Jefferson, Robert Garcia, Blagovich, Maxine Waters, john Edwards, Charles Rangel, not to mention the entire Ford Family. Anyone who thinks their party is immune from corruption is living in Dreamland. Democrats are probably more likely to get you money you didn't earn, so I kinda understand your allegiance.

It makes no difference to me what he does with his personnel life. I do live in Southaven and he did wrong on my dime. If it's strssful being a mayor than he should not have and elected to that office.

For the life of me I can't understand why Memphians are so concerned over this boy's activities; it's HIS personal life, for crying out loud! Being the MAYOR, he should be entitled to a little R & R, it's a stressful job!

I'm sorry, did I understand we're STILL PAYING HIS PAYCHECK!!??!! No one else would get that privilege after embezzling $$$. What is it with these aldermen, are they all scared to death they're going to be found out? What are they scared about, forced out of the closet or knowing they were ALL eating & partying on stolen $$. Somebody needs to find the legal loophole to get em all outa there. Even if "Mayor" Greg goes, that leaves them in office. Who wants all the mice guarding the cheese? The citizens of Southaven don't!! In this economy all the citizens are having a hard enough time just putting food on the table and paying taxes. There's very little left over for the "extras" they stole from the same people who trusted them enough to vote them in!

Where oh where has the morally superior, fiscally conservative Republican mayor gone? Hiding from truth and reality, like Republicans do best.

So, he is incapable fo doing his job, yet he cannot be fired? Sounds like Mississippi is in need of some revamping of the laws regarding this issue. This is robbing the taxpayers.
