I wonder if there is any way to hire people for the Animal Shelter that actually love animals. Makes more sense than giving the jobs to people who really don't like them. Hire someone who has 3 or 4 dogs at home they have saved because of abusive people (and there seems to be many animal abusers in this city) People who save animals themselves will make sure the animals are taken care of. Let's think before we hurt any more of these precious animals. Let's start really interviewing and checking the credentials of people the shelter hires. I am really tired of hearing about the abuse of these animals at the hands of people who grab their paychecks and go home while dogs starve to death at a SHELTER! Certainly anyone who has been found abusing animals should be fired, there should not be a question about this. There are many many people needing jobs who would have compassion for these animals, unlike the people in this article. Dog and Cat lover Memphis
