MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The Shelby County Office of Preparedness is warning of freezing rain and light snow predicted around the Mid-South overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, freezing precipitation is expected to fall from midnight through around 6:00am November 29, 2011, with a possibility of one to three inches of snow.

"That would create hazardous driving conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses. Motorists need to be on the alert tonight and tomorrow,” said Bob Nations, Director of the Shelby County Office of Preparedness.
