MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A call to police by a watchful neighbor landed a woman in jail after she was caught stealing from mailboxes in an east Memphis neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in a red vehicle going through mailboxes in the area of Shady Glen Road near Walnut Grove and South Yates around 3 a.m. on Sunday, September 9.

Police quickly located 32-year-old Kimberly Clark nearby in a red Camaro and saw a large amount of mail, debit/credit cards and checks with several different names in the front floorboard. Officers also found a fake Tennessee driver's license with someone else's information and Clark's photo, as well as another stolen driver's license. Clark told officers she had heroin and a snorting straw in the center console. They confiscated the heroin and paraphernalia and 89 prescription medication pills.

Kimberly Clark was arrested and charged with Identity Theft, Forgery, Possession of a Drug without a Prescription, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked at the Shelby County Jail on $30,000 bond.

Probably a rap sheet a mile long and multiple arrests and convictions and she will be put on the streets making life for Memphians miserable by her career criminal activities. When will it end, when she kills someone.
