MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A woman is behind bars, accused of ramming her car into a car full of kids in north Memphis.

Police say 28-year-old Dekandis Sutton rammed her Chrysler Pacifica into a vehicle on Keel Avenue near Ayres Street on Monday, August 27. Investigators say she was targeting the woman who had just gotten out of the car, her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend. She was able to jump out of the way and wasn't hurt.

A 17 year-old was inside the car along with four other children under age 12.

Sutton is charged with six counts of Aggravated Assault. She's being held at the Shelby County Jail on $20,000 bond.

This should have been an attempted murder charge, her intent was to kill, not to just injure the victim involved.
