MEMPHIS, TN - A woman was arrested on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, after shooting at three men who were at her East Memphis home to repossess her car.
An affidavit says 30-year-old Constance Hawkins fired two shots while three men were repossessing her car in the 1800 block of South Perkins Road.
While the men were working, Hawkins came outside and fired a shot into the air. She then turned the gun on one of the repo men and shot at him. Police arrived and arrested Hawkins.
Police were able to determine that Hawkins was not registered to have the gun. They also verified that there was a repossession order on her car. No one was hurt in the incident.
Hawkins has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
