MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A dispute between a woman and the manager at Don Don's Hot Wings escalated into a stabbing inside the Raleigh restaurant Tuesday night.

Memphis police were called to the restaurant at 2620 Austin Peay Highway the evening of May 1. The manager told officers that 41-year-old Sherrie Booker came in with her daughter around 6:30 p.m. to get some of her things she had left at the store when the manager had sent her home.

The manager and Booker began to argue, and Booker came into an employee area and stabbed the manager with a box cutter. The daughter, 22-year-old Ashley Booker, also assisted in the assault, according to the police affidavit.

Sherrie Booker is charged with Aggravated Assault; her daughter is charged with Criminal Responsibility for Facilitation of Felony to wit Aggravated Assault. Both are being held at the Shelby County Jail.

Ni$$as and flies, ni$$as and flies; the more I see ni$$as, the more I like flies....and I'm a BLACK woman. The 'n' word no longer refers to a person's race; it refers to their social class (educational background, or lack of one, criminal record, and public behavior).
