When I was 14 my step sister had a friend over. She was told no one allowed in back yard with dog. Her friend had multiple reconstructive surgeries...it was a Chow.

My staffordshire terrier is a registered service animal. Did you know more boxers attack and kill than pitbulls in the US. Please get educated. Do not let the media educate you. Google the breed educate yourself. They were known as Nanny dogs years ago and are the most affectionate and loyal of any breed next to labs.

Memphis needs the same ordinance. Crime, blight, an ignorant citizenry and pit bulls do not mix. How many MORE people have to be killed?

""...$300 a year. That's nothing." TYPICAL response from government bureaucrats - who don't work, produce, and provide a service for money - their salaries are paid for by taxpayers - taxpayers who work, sweat, and cut household budgets to make ends meet. To those people, $300 is SOMETHING - 5 or so tanks of gas so they can continue to work, be taxed, and pay idiot bureaucrats' salaries - that are obviously so large that $300 is 'nothing' to them....
