NASHVILLE, TN (WKRN)--An investigation into an online personal service ad led to the arrest of three Minnesota residents accused of bringing a 17-year-old female to Nashville to engage in prostitution.
Police arrested 21-year-old James Faircloth, 38-year-old Arraury Arnice and her 18-year-old daughter Ayanna Harris on Thursday night for trafficking the minor for sexual servitude.
An undercover officer met the underage teen, who is also from Minnesota earlier this week in a Harding Place area motel.
Authorities discovered during their investigation, the teen had been traveling with the trio through several states engaging in prostitution.
Police said they believed the group arrived in the Nashville area at the beginning of the week.
Due to the human trafficking aspect in the case, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is also investigating.
Authorities said the minor remains in custody of the Tennessee Department of Children's Services.
Harris is jailed in lieu of $60,000 bond.
Bond for both Faircloth and Arnice is set at $50,000.
