Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Tampa Bay
Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Jose Molina and Luke Scott each head two hits and drove in a run to lead the Tampa Bay Rays to an 8-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday.
Yunel Escobar, James Loney, Jason Bourgeois and Hak-Ju Lee also added one RBI apiece for the Rays, who improved to 5-1 in Grapefruit League action.
Jeremy Hellickson earned the win after tossing 1 2/3 shutout innings. Jeff Niemann started the contest for Tampa Bay and threw one perfect inning.
Matt Hague and Alex Presley drove in a pair of runs for the Pirates in the setback.
A.J. Burnett, who is coming off his best season since 2008, was tagged for four runs -- one earned -- on three hits over two innings to saddle the loss.
