Recap: Milwaukee vs. Canada
Maryvale, AZ (Sports Network) - Michael Saunders slugged a solo home run and Tyson Gillies added two hits and an RBI to lead Canada to a 7-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.
Justin Morneau and Johnathan Malo added an RBI apiece and Pete Orr went 3- for-4 and scored a pair of runs for Canada, which is prepping for the 2013 World Baseball Classic. John Axford picked up the save against his major league club after stranding a pair of runners in the ninth.
Khristoper Davis hit a solo home run and Carlos Gomez drove in a pair of runs for the Brewers, who also got an RBI from Rickie Weeks.
Chris Narveson got the start for Milwaukee and allowed just one run on three hits in 2 2/3 innings.
