Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy announced on Wednesday that rookie defensive end Jerel Worthy will miss the entire postseason due to a knee injury.

Worthy hurt his left knee during the latter stages of last Sunday's 37-34 loss at Minnesota and will be unavailable for Saturday's rematch with the Vikings in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs, as well as any remaining games Green Bay will play.

A second-round choice of the Packers in April's draft, Worthy finished his debut campaign with 14 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks while starting in four of his 14 appearances.

Green Bay received better news in regards to wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who also sustained a knee injury in the regular-season finale. The fifth-year pro did sit out Tuesday's walkthrough as a precaution, but was back on the practice field on Wednesday.

Nelson was listed as a limited participant, as was fellow wideout Randall Cobb, who was inactive for last week's matchup with a sore ankle. Tight end Jermichael Finley (eye), running back James Starks (knee) and cornerback Davon House (shoulder) were also limited in Wednesday's session.

Veteran defensive back Charles Woodson, out since Week 7 with a broken collarbone, practiced fully on Wednesday and is expected to be ready for this weekend's tilt.
