Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Carli Lloyd and Sydney Leroux scored second- half goals at Ford Field on Saturday to see the United Stats women's national team claim a 2-0 win over China.

Lloyd got things started six minutes after a scoreless first half, getting on the end of a low cross from Tobin Heath and drilling a shot into the lower corner from 12 yards out.

Leroux wrapped up the scoring five minutes from time, taking a pass from Alex Morgan in full stride and slipping a left-footed shot into the back of the net.

The U.S. is coming off of back-to-back wins over Ireland by a combined score of 7-0. The Americans will face China twice more before the close of the year, returning to the pitch Wednesday in Houston, Texas.
